Municipal authorities had commissioned a research on local vegetation at the University of Thessaloniki. The research was completed during 2008 and a book was prepared, where our island's plants are presented in detail, escorted by lovely photos. The presentation will take place in Gaios on Saturday, the 2nd of May at 20.00 at the Local Council Meeting Hall by professor Konstantinos Papanikolaou. You are all welcome to join us!
