The local council decided on the 16th of June 2009 to vote in favor of the plans enlarging the current space of the Folk Museum in Gaios. Architect, Marilena Koskina – of local origin – prepared the plans and made suggestions in front of the council. Soon the final proposition will be completed and it will be presented to the Ministry of Culture for approval, since the need for the museum’s expansion is dire.
