Some of this summer's cultural events that attracted many locals and foreigners are the following:

• traditional dancing evening organized by Paxos Cultural Society
• the four paintings excibitions at the Old Custom's House in Loggos. The Municipal art Gallery remained open from the beginning of June to the end of August 2009 thanks to the cooperation of the artists themselves along with the volunteer contribution of Maria Teloung and Faye Lychnou.
• a tribute concert to the famous Greek composer, Giorgos Xarhakos by local singers and musicians.
• Scouts visiting Paxos and offering their help in various sectors of local social life; for example animation and games for children of kindergarden age at the playground in Gaios for many afternoons.
