A delegation of 31 people travelled to Kirccheim for the weekend between the 13th to the 15th of February. They cooked traditional food, they played greek music, they danced and they partied to spanish and austrian music, tasted local dishes and took part in discussions and workshops concerning modern methods of waste management and recycling projects. Our delegation also visited Braunau, Salzburg, Innsburg, Brener, the lakes district and other parts of Upper West Austria and Tirolo and finally Venice during the last day of 2010 carnival. Overall a lovely trip full of beautiful landscapes covered in snow, new experiences, different lifestyles and many useful lessons learned concerning recycling and waste management methods.
