The conference takes place for more than a century and it is the first time that it is being hosted on Paxos. Every 4 years scientists, authors, poets, architects, historians etc gather to present their research, study, artwork of any kind that is related to the area of the Ionian Sea. In May 2010 eighty participants, Greek and Foreign will present their works in three different halls in Gaios from Thursday, 27 to Saturday 29. In due course the conference minutes will be published in both the Greek and English language. Various cultural events will take place during the 4 days of the conference. Entrance to the halls and events will be free to everyone interested.

Municipal authorities will announce on time the exact program of events.
