Professor Konstantinos Papanikolaou and researcher and photographer Kostas Vidakis after many years of research on behalf of the University of Thessaloniki managed to prepare a book on the flora of Paxos and Antipaxos. The result of their work was originally presented one year ago at the Town Council Meeting Hall.

The book which was finally published with the help of the Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Paxos goes under the title "Island of Paxi - Phytoprosopgraphy - Field Guide" and includes texts also in English. It presents more than 300 vegetal species through more than 800 colored photos to help them being identified on the field by any lover of Paxos nature and landscape. The book can be bought on Paxos.
