On the 23rd of October 2010 the representatives of the Cultural Villages Network came together at a meeting in Kirccheim, Austria, where they announced the following events being organized for 2011:
April 2011: Mellionnec, France elderly will meet for a weekend with the Porrua, Spain elderly in Mellionnec
May 2011: a) Mellionnec invites 40 inhabitants of Kirccheim, Austria to spend a weekend in Mellionnec.
b) the annual ten days painting festival "Easels and Brushes" is going to be held in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands
c) Four people from each Cultural Village are invited to Wijk aan Zee to host an official dinner, where the successes and failures of a decade's work of the Network are going to be presented.
d) Perzine Valdarno, Italy invites 50 people in total from any of the Cultural Villages to visit Toscany during two of their three annual festivals.
June 2011: Stroebeck, Germany invites 15 people from each Cultural Village to spend a weekend in Stroebeck celebrating the 1000 years of chess tradition they are so proud of in their village. Each village's guests are asked to present a tradition created through their participation in the network during the last 10 years; also the official cultural villages' song is going to played in different styles by each village.
July 2011: a) 1-3/07: Palkonya, Hungary invites people from Tripin and Bystre, Czech Republic for a weekend
b) 1-7/07 Paxos and Mellionnec invite 4 young people between the age of 15 and 18 from each Cultural Village to come to Paxos for a week for the annual Youth Camp. (Funding comes out of the Youth in Action European project).
c) Tradition song and dance festival in Porrua, Spain at the end of July
September 2011: a) Stroebeck, Germany organizes its annual Young musicians' festival; for a weekend they offer food and accommodation along with video clips of each performance
b) Palkonya, Hungary organizes a men's choir festival, where every choir will be asked to sing songs about drinking
