On Thursday, 10th of February Paxiots will be celebrating their Patron Saint, St Charalabos at the church of St Charalabos in Bogdanatika (the one above the football ground). It is a beautiful church, recently renovated located at one of the most breathtaking view points. Besides that, the Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra in cooperation with the Philharmonic of the village of Lakkones (Corfu) will participate in the celebrations both at the church and in Gaios after the end of the ceremony (around 11.00). The Philharmonic will also play a few pieces at the Local Council Hall, where the Bishop of Corfu will bless the New Local Council around 12.00.
