"Poseidon" Cultural Association of the Municipality of Paxos invites anyone interested in puppets and puppet theater to take part in a puppet seminar, which will take place between the 31st of March and the 2nd of April on Paxos. A puppet show called "Gargalistis" will also be presented by Nikos Tobros and Eleni Panagiotou, owners of a puppet workshop and theater in Vasilika of Evia. The play writen by Demetris Baslam, is a combination of music, images, sounds and songs, fun to watch for all ages. The seminar is consisted of: a) description of puppet types according to the different handling styles, history of the puppet theater, presentation of various scenes from famous puppet plays b) basic principles of cloth puppet construction c) construction of a puppet head made of paper Exact dates, time and place will be announced shortly.
