The Local Youth Council organized their first official event on the 22nd of February 2009. During Carneval the Board of Directors of the Local Youth Council invited a cuban music group called "Quinteto Criollo" along with dancers from the "Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba". Although it was Sunday night, many locals honored the Council with their presence and enjoyed themselves immensely under original latin tunes. The Local Youth Council wishes to thank every Paxiot who helped make this party feasable either with donations in money or merchandise either with their personal work.
