Maintenance problems at Gaios Port
The north side of Gaios New Port, where the large ferries dock, has suffered serious damage during last winter’s storms. Municipal authorities had informed the Port Organization in Corfu (OLKE) about the dire need of maintenance of that part of the port since 2007, but nothing happened until this year a large part of the north side of the port collapsed.
