Corfu Initiative bought a wheelchair for Paxos Health Center.
The voluntary collection of plastic bottle tops for the non-profit organisation ‘Corfu Initiative’, whose purpose is to provide wheelchairs for people in need, continues at an intense pace.
Enough tops had recently been collected so that they were able to purchase their next wheelchair which this time was kindly donated to the Paxos Health Center on 30.12.2014.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Corfu Initiative as well as to the PTA Associations of both the Paxos Junior and High Schools, the Port Authority and all of the residents of the island who are diligently collecting bottle tops and supporting this good cause.
Many thanks are also due to Kamelia Lines and the Depina ferry, who once again very kindly transported both the sacks of bottle tops and the wheelchair free of charge.
